Welcome to Part2. A lot of video was edited out. In this video we only show the important parts of part2. The Laptop works great now but it would have been better to Just Use Linux. ----- This is one of my computer headaches caused by someone recommending Windows XP to my customer instead of just using Linux. This laptop says that it's a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC DV6700 on the label. It's not. The customer told me it's a DV6810US and the drivers for that work just not for XP. HP never put the XP drivers on their support page even though they are on HP's FTP server! I couldn't figure out what hardware was inside this laptop to get drivers for and the hardest was the sound card. Why? Well because you can't install the sound card driver until you install some module's driver first. Don't know why just know it's messing with my head.
